Chanting Therapy
Ven Pannananda talks about the power of the breath and chanting in Buddhism, based on the Bojjhanga sutta, the Seven Factors of Enlightenment (SN 46.14). He explains Buddha’s guarantee that these factors give protection from suffering. This sutta is often chanted for the sick.
Ven. Pannananda was ordained as a Buddhist monk in the Theravada tradition in Bangladesh 11 years ago. Since then he has travelled widely and is currently resident in Perth and studying western psychology.
